Here’s a little something for harmonica players and slide guitar players. Watermelon Slim is scheduled to perform at the Green Parrot in Florida tonight 3/27/11 @ 5:30pm and 10pm which typically provides a live video stream.

Many of us have watched Jason Ricci perform via the stream. It’s not as good as being there but you can sit at home in your underwear (and not get arrested) and enjoy the show.

Great stuff! Green Parrot is my favorite blues joint - wish i was there to see him live - if you go get the pina colada w/ extra shot of dark rum floater - yumm!

I love Watermelon Slim's first few albums but he seems to have gone all country on his last two records.

Any idea why he went that way?

That man could sure play and sing the Blues.

Could it be,. even though he's says the Blues is not dead //in his video,.
Deep down he knows it is as far as making money an selling CD's,.lot more Country gigs out there than Blues gigs !
