Not bad. Here's a good example of a player who has completely let go of the low end, frequency-wise. Big, bright, crisp, overdriven, but with a nice clear edge.

Gearheads, please weight in. What gear is this player using? I suspect that he might be playing a mic plugged directly into the board, with a Lone Wolf or the equivalent: lots of digital processing.

Or is he playing a small amp?

I would guess a small tube amp with a crystal or ceramic mic, or possibly a green bullet, with delay added at the studio.

Don't know who the player is but it sounds very much like Mark Feltham.

You can get this sound by turning the treble way up and backing the bass off through a tube amp. With a Shure bullet mic.

I enjoyed the overdriven harp and the remix in general.
Its sounds better than the original mix she has in the U.K. charts at the moment.

(still sounds like an old Madonna song though)
