I just checked the iPhone app store and to my surprise there are a ton of decibel meters. I would love to get one and most are only 99 cents. Has anyone ever used any of these? I have found that a lot of apps are crap but I would gladly pay a dollar for a db meter that is somewhat accurate.

Cleartune is free and pretty good if you are just working on your notes/bends. iStrobosoft costs money but might be better if you are going to tune your harps.

There is an app called SPL meter.
It is by Studio Six Digital. www.studiosixdigital.com
Not cheap, but a quality meter.
