I've bought a few harps from Kevin [aka chromaticblues on the forum]. He does very nice work at reasonable prices. I often feel that the subtleties of full customs are lost on my playing so this time I ordered some of his $40 Special 20s for an important gig. He found a problem with one of the reeds [2 draw] and fixed it and customized the first 4 holes just to make sure I wouldn't have problems...even though I had simply order harps with straightened and gapped reeds! I think I sent him the order on Sunday and he just emailed me that they were done and coming my way [this is Tuesday]. I really appreciate that kind of service. No affiliation. Just want to give credit where it's due! All the best, Jay

$40 SP20's?.... no queston Kevins harps are great. He did me right with three SP20's. And for that I am grateful. They still have plenty of volume, and are in the forefront of my gigging bevy. ---------- Why is it that we all just can't get along?<

I ordered some harps from Kevin a while back and the anticipation keeps me up nights. I'd love to hear more about people's experiences

Thank You Jay! Like I said in my Email I'm just trying to provide a good affordable service. If you can't help people with what you know. Than what good is it to learn anything?

Chromatic does real good work! More so when you factor in what he charges! I sent him a few Sp20's months ago when he was first advertising and they are some of the first harps I grab when gigging. Also, he threw MB cover plates on and they really give a new tonality to the SP20, something I esp liked when playing acoustic.
Hey chro- are you still doing the deal if I send some harps and you do a custom setup on em? I have a couple more Sp20 that might come your way if so. If so- what's the charge now? Thanks
