Good stuff Walter! I get where you are coming from in the 2nd song.

Always enjoy hearing the high harps played well.

harpdude61: Thanks! An alien race looking down on us would judge us pure idiots and move on - we kill each other for purely selfish reasons, pollute the water so we can't drink it, pollute the air so we can't breathe it, wear the dirt out and have to use fertilizers, spend the majority of our energy and money on wars, have nuclear power but don't know how to recycle or control it, have people starving while others have more money than they could ever spend in a 100 lifetimes, and leave the next generation a pile of garbage instead of a lovely garden..... I could sing all day about this insanity we call living right. Walter

@waltertore, agree with all you said above but then again some of us have got it right. What would the alien say if he dropped in on you? Hey, this guys pretty cool, he's enjoying himself making great music and making the most of his talents. Contact the starship and we'll all set up home on planet earth :0) Shift over big boy and let me get at those there drums.

Why assume the aliens wouldn't be bigger idiots than humans? ;-) If they existed advanced technology would get them here, but does buying a ticket for a jet plane make you more intelligent that Da Vinci, or Newton?

We do what we do to get by...like rabbits, termites & sea urchins...just nature at work. The world is pretty tough, it'll be here for millenia yet...with or without humans.

Fresh water often starts out polluted (apart from snow & some rain), we clean it up before we pollute it again...then we clean it up, then we pollute it again...then we....

More people are dying in the world because their "natural sources" of water kill them, rather than what "we" put in it.

funny how you sing this stuff in a song and nothing much happens. But put the instruments down and say the same thing and all kinds of responses appear. It shows the power of putting it in song, or the weakness?? Walter

Ha ha! The thing is, lots of folks just like songs because of the noise they make! :-o...it can be a nice bonus if they make you think, but those that are primarily looking for issues & knowledge are more likely to watch the news or National Geographic ;-)
