I have fallen in love with the Jamey Aebersold backing tracks. This is from the cd 'Nothing but the Blues Vol. 2 Jazz and Rock' track# 5
Fast Blues in Bflat concert.
Is this Modern enough for you guys? IMHO this stuff is great practice material. I also have Vol 42 Blues in all keys

The Aebersolds have been a staple of the jazz world for decades. It's one of the best ways to learn tunes, and learn how to improvise over them. As far as blues goes, there's another volume with blues in minor keys. It's great for working on 3rd and 4th position. There are lots of others for working on jazz changes, but the ones you've mentioned are the best for working on blues.

wonderful stuff...wow!
I'm a big Eb fan...
Back in the 90's, I used to drum to J.A. backing tracks like this. I didn't put it together til your post.
But seriously, I could have used them for harp. I just had a great time jamming to it, already.
Great stuff to work with. For keeping good 'time' while inventing, putting together 'sentences', or slick 'runs' of your own, too.
What a difference! With music behind you. And good quality stuff!
...be careful!!...don't step on the other soloists!
Thanks...
