Much chatter lately about the overbends so I thought I would post something of where I'm at in my journey. I was impressed with Ant 138 deciding to give them a go. His tongue blocking impressed me enough to give that a try, so I hope this helps him in some way.
I also wanted to try out my Zoom H2 as a mic thru the webcam to see how much better it sounded. Incredible difference to me, but this is my first try, so I hope I can get it better.
This is part of a Red House backing track on youtube, just thru my PC speakers.
I play two breaks in 1st position using 4, 5, and 6 hole overblows and two in 2nd position using 5,6 overblow and 7,10 overdraw. The harps are stock Golden Melodys in A and D that I gapped myself.
Constructive critique is welcome from all level players, overblower or not. I figue who knows better than the players on this forum.
Wow, you've certainly done your woodshedding! I enjoyed that, and the H2 picked up the audio very nicely-it sounded great. You'll have to help me break through my overblow barrier at HCH.;-)
