Johnny Sansone just called me and said the Mark Hummel's Blues Harmonica Blowout for 2011 kicks off here in New Orleans this Sunday, March 20th at Chickie Wah Wah. On the New Orleans Bill will be Mark Hummel, Johnny Sansone, and Jason Ricci. If you have been putting it off, this is the weekend to come to New Orleans. The show starts at 7:00. Be there.
In other news, I asked Johnny if he was coming to Hill Country Harmonica this year, and he said that at this point in time there was no more money in the HCH budget to have him there. Johnny had to put off his HCH decision because he had some scheduling conflicts, and by then the money was all allocated. Johnny said that he is looking forward to the next time he can come to HCH.
