Further to my correspondence with Mr Rift, here is a sample which I just did using the MicroCube as pre-amp to my computer. I also used Fruity Loops to provide the backing.
Mic wasn't cupped but played accoustically close to the mic (low imp, dynamic, by the way). Used a little delay. Maybe too much.

Created a wav file then converted to mp3. It works fine but I think I may have just got the levels slightly wrong on this sample.

The thing is begging for a Sonny Terry riff over the top of it.

If you decide to make it longer, you could always add that and train and chug type elements to it. It seemed to work really well when I played along with it.

It sounds fine as-is, just throwing my two cents at ya. Just felt right as that bass started thumpin' out of my speakers.

@Kingo. I'm working on it. The backing track has already undergone a lot of changes but I doubt my harp playing ability will be anything like the 'Master'. I've also changed it to the key of E because Sonny liked his A harp.

Thanks Tooka! I didn't hear any sirens so I trust you now.
