I check tolerances of my embossing with microscope micrometer.
Stock tolerances on MB deluxe and seydels 1847 are pretty close and around 40-50 micrometers for whole lenght of reed, my tolerances after embossing are from 0 at the beginning of slot to 20-30 micrometers at the tip of the reed. What about yours? I can't check Manji as my only one is already embossed.
