I feel as though my previous lighthearted post was out of kilter after reading some of the posts from my harp playing colleagues in Japan. I feel terrible that they should be experiencing such heartache and despair after the sudden catastrophy that has caused such turmoil in that wonderful country which has done so much to further the cause of blues harp and the harmonica in general.
The only way I can share your grief is with a tune I have put together which I feel expresses my sadness. It is a bit rough and needs refining but I want to put it out whilst this terrible chapter in Japans history is still unfolding. I didn't know how to resolve it at the end but feel it reflects the unfinished business and lives of all those poor people involved.
If anyone feels this is inappropriate, please get a moderator to delete this post as I shall be away from my computer for a while. Thanks.
