Howard Levy & the Harris Simon Trio
Series: Dewey Decibel Concerts
Grammy winner, and acknowledged master of the diatonic harmonica, Levy returns to the library for a concert with local jazz master Harris Simon.

Howard was a founding member of (and a Grammy Award winner with) Bela Fleck and the ?Flecktones. He toured and recorded two albums with Kenny Loggins, and formed Trio Globo with Eugene Friesen and Glen Velez. Levy has also performed and/or recorded with Dolly Parton, Styx, Bobby McFerrin, Paul Simon, John Prine, Paquito D’Rivera and many others. He is a favorite guest on public radio’s “A Prairie Home Companion.”

He’s appearing in Williamsburg with the Harris Simon Trio made up of bassist Terry Burrell and drummer Billy Williams with Harris Simon on piano. Be sure to catch what's bound to be one of the most exciting and different musical events all season.
