I have a Suzuki Fire Breath which I really like, however I am reacting to rosewood comb unfortunately, so I am wondering:
1) Would the Promaster combs be compatible with the Fire Breath reeds and cover plates?
2) Does Suzuki sell combs alone as parts?
3) Are there any 3rd party makers of aftermarket combs for the Firebreath?

I believe Promaster, Hammond an Firebreath parts are interchangeable. Hammond combs are machined better than Promaster combs.
Chris Reynolds (Builder of Stuff/Blow Your Brass Off) can make custom combs for Suzukis.
Call Suzuki customer service and ask them. Suzuki cs is excellent--very accommodating.

Thanks hvyj, I'll contact Suzuki and keep Chris in mind in case that doesn't work out. Thanks too for the heads up on the Hammond vs. promaster combs.
