OK I went for my fourth harp lesson today and I picked up one of those digital recorders from the Shack the other day to record them. I have the mp3 loaded on my comp. Wanted to post the audio where yall could take a listen. Thing is it's 46 minutes long and 87MB.

What is an easy way to edit it into smaller pieces and what is a good, free, easy to use file hoster?

Thanks, John.

You can I believe use newer free versions of Audacity to trim your files.

A good free file sharing site is BoxNet.

pistolero> you should be able to open an MP3 file in Audacity however if recording using Audacity it records in another format. To convert Audacity files to MP3 you need to download another free program called Lame which enables quick conversion to MP3s. Information and links are on the Audacity site.
