When I met my wife, back in the early 90's, I got dragged to the two figure skating tours every year. Eventually one of them folded and I only had to endure one each year. I caught a break when we had kids and I got to stay home to watch them while the Mrs. went with her mother/sister(s)/friends. Well, my daughter has since gotten into the sport, and we have become involved with her club. Beginning last year, my wife began coordinating group ticket sales for club members and has been given comp tickets for the entire family as a "thank you". So, beginning last year, I'm back on the attendance list. My son, too, but he's much more willing than I.
Yesterday, Smucker's came through my state, and along we went. In the second half of the show, Michael Weiss skated to an extended version of Yuri Lane's "Harmonica Beatbox". I didn't get the costume - farmer jeans and straw in his mouth, but nonetheless it was finally a number I could enjoy.
