Just got Buddy's newsletter in my e-mail and I've pasted a section below regarding his upcoming Harmonica CD:
"But the thing I'm most excited to announce is the upcoming release of my latest CD, Harmonica Anthology, a 16 song journey into the wonderful world of the harmonica according to yours truly. Co- produced with Bryan Sutton and featuring a bevy of Nashville's finest musicians (including my harmonica hero Charlie McCoy), this is a project that has allowed me to demonstrate some of the wide variety available on this simple but highly expressive little instrument: Irish slip jigs and reels, old time and Texas fiddle tunes, timeless ballads and anthems, updated versions of some old crowd pleasers (Orange Blossom Special, William Tell Overture, and Bubba, the Wandering Gypsy), and a few vocal songs as well, all making for a musical offering that satisfies. Friends, this is good listening, if I do say so myself! So, be on the look out for our CD release sale coming in a few weeks to a computer near you."
This is sure to be a great project. 2 lightning fast players together on one CD. Buddy is so fast, but not only fast, he is precise... very precise. And this isn't some kind of editing ProTools magic. When you hear him live you see that he's the real deal.
