Hello list, I was wondering if most of you start with a bent note when you start? Also what about a dirty warble as Norton Buffalo call it, and what is it? MX

I warble a lot mx and don't bend in general, thats draw warble. The main thing is to get the warble in the rythym of the number being played for main effectivness.
The listeners love a good warble!!
No idea about a dirty warble as per Norton but draw warbles played well are very cool, in the right context.
I warble anywhere on the harp from 1-7, 8-10 does not work.
Hope that helps

i start unbent (most often 4-5 warble) & usually bend it back n forth a bit for effect. it's the one thing i sound pretty good doing! :-)
PS; james cotton - IMHO - king of the overused warble! ---------- ~Banned in Boston!
