528hemi 187 posts Mar 02, 2011 8:43 AM	This is just a quick sample of my Masco mu-5, Multivox Combo bass, and my Masco 18P with a 15" CTS speaker played through a Shure CR and recorded straight with my Iphone. They actually sound very simular in the recordings.

528hemi 188 posts Mar 02, 2011 1:08 PM	Joe, I see what you are saying...recording really dont do any amp justice unless using high fidelity equipment. I actually thought that the Masco MU5 sample Adam posted sounded thin...I am convinced it is as fat as the one I got. The lows and mids are much better live and the tone is fatter all around but the Crunch and breakup gives a good idea of the general characteristics.
