I wanted to pass this on for those interested, recently I read this on another site. The story can be read if you go to www.macon.com and put in Blues Guitarist. The article pretty much sums up the life of a Great blues man who was still driving(by himself) to gigs at the age of 87.Eddie was kind of unknown to alot of folks, but was John Lee Hookers main guitarist for many years.I,ve read in the past that he was quite a show stopper in his day, complete with awesome guitar playing which included somersaults while he played.Rest In Peace Eddie, and Thanks for Keeping The Blues Alive for all of these years.BTW Sorry for my screw up on the topic, which should read Eddie Kirkland
