jam along to my latest creation. OK I know it's another one you wont like but here goes anyway. I start out trying to be blue but something takes over and my bluesosity gets diluted along the way. Anyway, I've left gaps for my harp (when I can sort out my recording volume problems) and it's a nice lazy 100 BPM Electro/reggae/light-blues/popsicle.
There is far more to this music creation endeavour than I ever imagined. Apart from choosing notes and chords which is near impossible for me, there is the added complication of creating and fiddling with thousands of sound combinations, envelopes, velocities, pans etc. etc. etc.
It's a wonder I can make my mind up at all and actually get something finished electronically. There are so many decisions required.
Any feedback would be appreciated and most welcome. Thanks.

Cool stuff, tooka. It must take a hell of a long time to put this together!

@jodanchudan. Yes it is quite time consuming. Don't know if you know anything about Fruity Loops (Now known as FL Studio) but I'm using an old version 3.5. It's quite basic and I have to build my own sounds etc and each note is more or less programmed into the sequencer by hand.
Anyhow, it has taught me a heck of a lot and made my use of the harp and a little music theory so much easier to digest and retain.
Thanks. ----------

I tried playing my C harp to it as suggested. I just couldn't get into it.
It's catchy. It would be good "on hold" music, but it doesn't strike me as a harp baking track.
Maybe if there were more major7 chords???
I urge you keep having fun with FL Studio. I wish there was a PC version. ---------- intermediate level (+) player per the Adam Gussow Scale, Started playing 2001

C harp second position works fine for me and I did use all major chords. I don't know how to use anything else yet :) There is a PC FL Studio. In fact I'm not sure if it can be used with a Mac? ***************** Later edit. I've revised the mp3 file and made improvements to the tune now. ----------

OOPS When I said "more Major7 chords" I should of said something like "dominant 7 chords". Major7 is too jazzy.
And yes I could and can play cross harp in C to the tune, I just couldn't get inspired. ---------- intermediate level (+) player per the Adam Gussow Scale, Started playing 2001

@Jim Rumbaugh. "I just couldn't get inspired." It's that bad eh? Never mind.

@Tooka,,,OK,,,, tonight I gave it another shot. I caught the groove and was able to play against it fine. It's not blues, but you never said it was.
It is a "cute" track to blow against.
(and I did find the PC version of FL Studio)
You may want to try this online "make a backing track" place called:
http://www.jamstudio.com/
I have had a lot of fun with it.
