Ian for the record ... there are two ways to imbed using your phone.
1) google search the video and on the options menu on your browser select "request desktop mode" then when you click on the video it will come up with the desktop version of youtube. Then you can get the embed link.
2) use the html code (like in the forum faq section of this page)
Hope that helps.
Btw, that video was tight.
Harp beatbox is cool.

Thanks Ian, Very cool, I'm also fan of Son of Dave. I like his creative mixes of beat box, looping and one man band work. "Shake a Bone" has the classic video too.
With me it's a 'suspension of disbelief' thing. I'm listening to beatboxing/harpboxing and thinking wow, that's incredible - which it often is. Then my perception switches to: oh no, this is actually a hip-dressed dude making funny mouth noises into a mic! I don't want to, but I can't help it. I get the mental image of the performer without the mic. Could be the fundamental problem is that I don't particularly like the music they are emulating.
On the other hand +1 for Son of Dave who makes music I want to listen to again and again. Skills and good music, that's the thing!
MBH has defined majority view of 'Modern Harp' largely as the use of overbending. In honesty, speaking from the heart, much of that leaves me cold however impressive it is to other harp players. Surely the music of Son of Dave (and a few others) is a better candidate for 'Modern Harp'? The wonderful, proven sound of the blues harp combined with modern looping technology and contemporary microphone techniques.
Plus Son of Dave has a rather attractive menacing stage persona, great showmanship.
