This is an arrangement of St Louis blues by JJ Milteau I think, but I might be wrong. I’m playing it slower than normal and have worked out the tab if those of you that use tabs want to have a go. I found this difficult to tab out so I hope its accurate! If anyone knows where I can get a backing track for this, I'd appreciate it.
St Louis Blues – played on a C harp
Tab description :- +2=blow hole 2; -3=draw hole 3; -3*=half step draw bend on hole 3; -3***=1 step and a half draw bend on hole 3 -3**=1 whole step draw bend on hole 3; [+3..+6]=tongue block to blow holes 3&6 together;+2gliss+4 a quick slide blow of hole 2,3&4. Where you see -3*/-3 slur draw 3 bend up draw 3 straight note. Where you see -3/-3* draw 3 slur straight note down to draw 3 bend. TB[+3..+6] = play blow notes 3&6 whilst tongue blocking off holes 4&5
we do that in my band. we usually keep it simple and feature our guitar player and singer. i can video it this friday and send you a link over the weekend if you want.
