Congrats to Jason for clinching the Bernie Brae Harmonica Play of the Year Award. Well deserved for his incredible musicianship and what he has done for the harmonica world.
I'm very happy about Jason! His playing and love to harmonica are very inspiring. ---------- Konstantin Kolesnichenko(Ukraine) http://kolesnichenko-harmonica.com/
Well deserved! Jason is not only a talented musician who is pushing the boundaries of harmonica, but he is contributing SO MUCH to the player community through his videos and active participation on this forum. And also through his collaboration with manufacturers like Lone Wolf, Suzuki, Blue Moon, and Greg Heumann. He is more than inspiring.
Not before time: in many peoples' eyes, Jason has been 'Harmonica Player of the Year' for many years already. Good to see his great skills and contribution to the harmonica community celebrated officially by SPAH :-) Congratulations Jason!
Thanks guys been so busy I haven't had much time for the interbox. I'm deeply touched by the award and all of your comments thank you again and again and grateful meows forever! ---------- www.mooncat.org
Congratulations again, J. I'm sorry I missed the award ceremony but glad we had a chance to cross paths out on the Big Bad Road where the dogs, cats, wolves and snakes live. Oooooooooouuuuuuuuu!
Thank you guys it's hard to even talk about this one. Winning the 2017 "Bernie Brae Harmonica Player of the Year" award from the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica (SPAH). I don't know if this is the best or most important career milestone for me yet but it's my personal favorite and means a whole lot more than I have words to express. The fact that this honor is bestowed by SPAH an organization dear to my heart, that does so much for people, music and harmonica, the fact that this award comes from my peers it's not specific to any singular musical genre, it's for harmonica- this makes me very grateful. It never made sense to me when people say they were or are "humbled" by winning an award until now. I am truly humbled, grateful and feel more of a "call to service" in this community than ever before now. Thank you SPAH and everyone that made this possible I am in your debt and proud to be of service to this amazing community that has taught, guided and give me so many friends, wonderful experiences and education all these years.
