It was pretty nervous to play when Howard stands next to me! But I was happy to do it.

The man who make video (not me) choose only some parts of jam. Complete track is in audio only. The second Howard's solo is played through my rig.

Great guitar player Tommy Emmanuel playing drums by 1/4' plug and hand ((:

Bossa Nova in frozen Russia! Hehe

Very well played. You are very good Boris. I think from what I heard from you in previous time that you have improved a lot, not in technique but in musical "coherence". You sound a lot more musical right now!

Congratulations!! From a latino, I got to tell you that you sound great.

With some latin flavour for you, chico!! :P

Thanks! I practice different music, and I have a dream to sound proper in any musical context and to avoid playing licks (unfortunately sometimes I still play them). I play for 10 years but my playing three years ago sounds not good for me, you're right.

Seriously Boris,

I would have soiled my pants with that group. Not only were you playing with Howard Levy, but Tommy Emmanuel too?!?! It was strange seeing him on drums, but to even be in the same room with those two would make me ecstatic! Nicely done, nicely played, and fantastic for you! (and what a treasure to have it all on video!)

You can see Howard was very impressed with your playing-thats a feat in itself. Howard is not easily impressed. Great job!!! If you were nervous,it did not show in your performance.

You have to listen to the audio clip as it is really really awesome. The video doesn't do the whole tune justice!

Boris - great stuff! I loved it! I so proud for you...I couldn't imagine jamming with my hero like that...no way I would've played anything even close to cool as I'd be way to nervous!

Boris-that was incredible! Killer playing-and with Mr. Levy admiring every second of it. I like that homey venue too. And Tommy Emmanuel-on drums? Very cool stuff.

Boris: That was some hellacious playing, man. There's a moment early on, around :27, when you really throw down, and Howard turns towards you, smiling. Not that any harp player in the world can really.....PUSH Howard. But the look he gave you seemed to say: OK, I do NOT need to hold back and make nice; this guy can play, and when my turn comes up I'm going to stomp his ass.

In other words, you pushed him. That's something very few people can do. Thanks for posting this video. I'm extremely impressed.

Wow Boris, this rocks! Enjoyed your playing :) . Wish I could believe I could study and practice myself to this level. I got to talk to Howard at SPAH and thought that in itself was amazing. I can only imagine how much this affected your future of playing.

Fantastic performance under extreme pressure Boris, that fast stuff at .38, exceptional playing, and the look on Howard's face. Thanks for sharing that

now that is pro playing!
very few harmonica players could or would share the stage with howard levy;
and not only get out alive with your self respect in tact, but earn his respect too.

You're right....an absolutely shameless plug...;-)

What's the old saying...it ain't bragging if it's the truth....or... it ain't bragging if you can do it?

I'd say great job...but that would be truly faint praise given that you got "the look" from Howard Freaking Levy man.

What else can one say?
