If you haven't check out Harmonicasessions.com it's free online 'magazine' that has 4 articles every other month (I think it's that often). You can also go through the history of articles that have been posted.

There is a magazine here in the U.K. called Harmonica World which is produced by the the NHL(National Harmonica League). It is produced quarterly and i think its available all over the world but you do have to suscribe.
Its a nice suprise when it lands on the doorstep and its usually a good read, it covers Diatonic and Chromatic, it has reviews of harmonica's and equipment etc...
Here's a link to it:o)

Frank, For your info the National harmonica league is well established and has members world-wide. Subscription is about £20 pa just less than $30 pa, so the same price as your harps!

Winslow Yerxa used to have a harmonica magazine (in print) called Harmonica Information Press, but that's now history. To the greater part of the world, truth be told, harmonica is considered more of a niche instrument when compared to keyboards, guitars and drums and keeping afloat is difficult because of the costs vs. actual subscriptions won't make it fly. As Rod Piazza once told me, "Harp players are either too cheap or too broke to get the right s**t!"
If you join SPAH, they do have their own magazine. Winslow couldn't keep it going because the costs and time needed made it tough to keep a regular publishing schedule at the time. Besides, you can get far more stuff on the internet now that what's been available for the last century combined twice over. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

Blues Revue is great. Several detailed instructional columns every issue. Harp, guitar, etc. Good interviews and articles. Lots of intelligent CD reviews, listings and music sample CD's every few months. Yearly festival guide is very good.
