What are some words every harmonica player should know the meanings of as part of understanding the harmonica? I'm soliciting for words and definitions. It's not a wiki page, but maybe it can be a start.

For me, the three most important words are...

Practice

The pedant in me has to point out that it is embouchure, from the French for mouth "La bouche".

Sorry to be petty. I'll try and think of some words now ;-)

How about dominant and subdominant to go with tonic?

Or maybe just some gin!

MVLUN, I'm usually really careful, but for some reason spell checker didn't have a suggestion and Google, well Google will guess what you are suggestion and give you the false impression that you've spelled it correctly. If I'd thought of the etymology I probably would have figured it out. I'd also like to organize the words into a sort of progression. You might not need to know Lydian on the first day you pick up a harp, but draw and blow probably need to be explained up front.
