kind of obsessive am I? Like an old dog with a "learning" towel clamped in his teeth?
If you had attended my classes at Augusta Heritage Blues Week over the years, you would have found it not unusual for me to begin the current year's class of 26 students (talking to those that had attended the previous one) by saying "Remember all that stuff I was telling you last year? Well, forget it. I've developed a better concept"!

@CarlA - Ha, that gave me a good chuckle, I've seen those threads.
Maybe one day I'll post this topic again and we'll all have a perfectly pleasant conversation about the technique and how it might be used to better play, you know, music.
Still, this was enlightening. Thanks all.

Yeah-I would knock it down a notch or two as well-6 months is not a long time. Theres some great info to be gleened here.
