Seems like there really never has been any real confirmation to the widespread belief that Little Walter used a Danelectro Commando. I just spoke with Charlie Musslewhite's amp tech who is servicing my recently purchased Commando. He told me he worked on a Commando that had been left to Little Walter's wife/girlfriend after he died. The amp had been left in a basement for years which flooded causing quite a bit of damage. Bill was able to revive it and it's out there somewhere. Bill is not one to exaggerate or talk a lot of bollocks, so I'm sure this is info that he believes to be true and has no reason to dispute.
I thought this bit of harmonica nerd trivia might be of interest on this forum.
