It is very usefull, this is how you compare amps.

You need a track of a harp player (can we get one of the great ones to do this?) a reamp box, a mic an any interface.

Do you think that this has some teaching value? I do!

Well 'Harpsucker' does a version of this principle.
Google him. but actually no matter which amp he or a
friend demonstrate they all seem to sound great.

IIRC Harpsucker does all his demos in a living room or something akin to that. I.E. he does not need produce a whole lot of volume -- a critical commodity that might very well be a prerequisite for using an amp with a harp.

Any of you watched the video?

This is not some guy playing different amps whit differents mics whit diferents keys.

Is the SAME loop playing but changing the amps, so you can see what the amps sounds like.

Theres more than one video. Thats Similar to what Dave did, using the same harp and mic., just switching amps. Dennis G was one of the testers.

One of the top three amps was a Mark Overman modded Bassman RI.

I've owned or own pretty much every amp they tested. If your curious about a particular amp for harp, just ask.
Someone here most likely knows.
