Hey guys, wanted a bit of help in picking a delay pedal.

Has anyone tried the Donner Yellow Fall? How does it compare to the DD7? The price difference is obviously pretty huge, but wondering what will be missing from the Yellow and how that would change the sound.

Welp, I'm running out of time a little bit as I currently live in Central America and have a friend coming out with gear in a few weeks.

If anyone can give me any info at all, even if it's only regarding the DD7, it would be appreciated. Otherwise I'll let this thread die and risk a Donner Yellow.

Thanks.

Dont know about those reverbs you mention. But Lone wolf reverb or Hall of fame HOF is the two best reverbs

You can look at carbon copy delay by mxr and two timer by BBE...in the second-hand market you can buy these pedals with a good price...

Hey Arnenym, I'm looking at delay pedals rather than reverb pedals. Thanks though.

Dox, you've used them? Would you speak to either of their sounds?

Love the carbon copy delay. I actually use one with a lone wolf in the chain as well. Just use the carbon copy for long lush delay or sustain.

Hi, yes I have both. Asking to Google and YouTube y'all find some reviews.

They are well-known delay pedal for harp and harp friendly.

Carbon copy is the delay used by Jason Ricci, pretty clean with modulation option.
The two timer is warmer for me with a little more grit, I use this one as standalone pedal when I don't want to carry out the whole pedal board where it is the carbon copy.

Do not worry about differences, at the end in the mix the result is the same. Pick one you find easly.

I have a Yellow Fall. It's great, I was using it with a Joyo American pedal. But I've gone back to direct in the box with Guitar Rig now.
