Hello,

My name is Samuel. We are starting a new Blues Band with 4 other guys. The leader of the band ask each member to propose 5-10 songs they would love to play. I'm going to go to our second rehearsal with my 5 songs.

I really struggle to find the lyrics of "One Of These Mornings" by Little Walter. Maybe I should ask a bookseller, hoping he will know about Blues literature.

Does anybody could help me?

Best Regards,
----------

Little Walter - One of these mornings
(Lyrics transcribed by myself right now)

[0:25]
One of these mornings girl it, won't be long
gonna call my name girl and, I'll be gone
because I done got tired of you treating me this way
got my face all wrinkled and my hair is turning gray

[0:49]
Open up your suitcase and pack your clothes, you done,
done me wrong I don't want'cha no more
because I done got tired of you treating me this way
got my face all wrinkled and my hair is turning gray

[1:13]
- solo 1 -

[1:38]
One of these mornings about 9 o' clock
you're gonna come in drunk girl and we are gonna rock
cause I done got tired of you treating me this way
got my face all wrinkled and my hair is turning gray

[2:03]
- solo 2 -

[2:26]
Come on in here woman and hush your mouth, you done,
done me wrong I'm gonna put ya out
because I done got tired of you treating me this way
got my face all wrinkled, hair is turning gray

Thank you guys, you are awsome!

Obviously, english isn't my mother language. In this case it was difficult to me to figure out what LW was singing.

I love that song!
I do not love the LW harp in it, at least the head, which is very unusual for me. The groove and the LW vocal grabs me every time. I usually have to play it again when it comes on.
