Why not offer tremolo tuning in the switchable Octa Harp format? =========== Winslow

You lost me there Winslow...?
The TremoloHarp is in the same TwinDiatonic format as the Octaharp. In fact they use the same front unit, so you could use it for ocatve or tremolo playing - but not at the same time!

I think what he's talking about would be like having the two harps in the OctaHarp Selectable format. Seems like something that could be accomplished with a custom Seydel. You'd have to modify the slide to only travel half the distance so that both slots are open.

I mean the one where you have one harp mounted behind the other and can switch the back harp on and off. =========== Winslow

Ah... It could work as long as both harps are low pitched. The long travel to the rear harp means it needs to be a low key. I haven't established how high you can go before tuning problems become an issue, but I'd guess G?
Certainly interested to hear if someone tries it, but it won't be me. I've never liked Tremolo harps ;-)
