Ok, now I have seen it, but no I have not seen one like that. I assume the speaker is hardwired which is why it's been tapped at the OT, but it's kinda hard to say exactly what's going on based on that picture. And I have only had one sip of my coffee
the way i understand it. channel one is stock, input #2 is wired to the transformer " a separate transformer" that goes to another amp.would that be what we consider re-amping?

The way I heard was that input 2 was now an output, to avoid having to drill a hole in the chasis for the line out jack.
I think the line out is just a regular old padding down of the speaker signal that you see in many amps, e.g. Harp Gear, Memphis Mini, super Champ, etc.
I was gonna say 'gotcha', meaning I understand what you're saying. But then I realised that to many people 'gotcha' currently means 'I caught you in my trap of tricky questions'. But I still mean the first thing. And presumably there's another resistance across the contacts of the jack.
what you are alluding to make's perfect sense. however when we were kids we tried all kinds of stupid s%$#. i seem to remember some thing similar. ok i don't remember too well but check this out.... i'll be right back i'll need to find it. its funny i was discussing this with super mic tech steve warner just the other day. be right back...
On ANY Fender amp that has 2 inputs on the same channel, without any rewiring, you can use one of them as an output that duplicates the signal going into the other input. If you run that output (from the second input) into another amp, it's called slaving or daisy chaining. I believe this can also be done with Marshalls.

that's what i thought too, at first. the guy seems pretty vague about it and i thought he just didnt know what he was talking about. Then i noticed that transformer appears to be mounted on timber, so i guess its not the output transformer. so now i just don't know.
yep ...a separate transformer thats what is interesting. on the vintage 47 he is using a isolation transformer. for harmonica i am thinking a step down transformer so as to turn up the volume to increase the gain. so it won't start squealing so soon. the guy from vintage 47 is a stones throw from my place.sure would be nice to talk to him. "i probably have" LOL

should point out i was replying to timeistight in previous post. yeah hvyj i think that daisy chaining is different to what these guys are discussing. when you just run a line from the 2nd input you are just splitting the mic signal rather than any processing from the amp the mic is plugged into. these guys are definitely talking about a preamp situation implying the signal is tapped after its been through the champ preamp (at least)
