Is there a way to save a thread that's posted on the Forum? Sometimes a post will contain an old thread from a year ago or more and I think, "That was a good discussion or advice" but I forgot about when I read it or what the thread topic was.

I'd like to place some threads into a separate folder that I can look at at a later date without having to think of the topic to go through the search function which often requires searching through many threads on a topic before finding (or not) the thread containing the info I want.

Being able to go through a much smaller base of threads would be a lot easier.

you can copy and paste the address in the browser and put it in a folder on your desk top.

I would use the bookmarks in my web browser or copy/paste links into a Google Doc if I wanted to add notes. I use Google Spreadsheets to organize practice tracks with song key, harp key/position and YouTube links. It's like having your own dashboard.

Just adding them to your bookmarks or otherwise keeping a copy of the link somewhere. Creeky old software.

You could, theoretically, do like I did with my links. Copy the link for this thread into your browser, then, every time you find a thread you want to 'save' you can edit your comment and add that link to it. Probably not a terribly efficient way to do things. The only reason I did it that way was so that I could make lists that other people could access. (I think they are all hopelessly out of date now though).

Edit- most browsers let you make folders, so you could at least bookmark them all in the same place. I've got a folder for all my harmonica related links, another for software, another for games, etc.
