if ten years ago someone asked me to learn this song i have thought they were crazy.
i just learned the bass line and i am working on the guitar part. this track grooves. what is cool is it does not have a harp part, so i get to completely improvise.
it is basically a 2 chord vamp in F# grab a B harp and play along.....
I'd have stayed on an extra stop even if he was no good....you KNOW he wasn't done...like a train wreck I'd want to see the finale even if that makes me a bad person....
As well, I was never a Michael Jackson fan--or Disco I thought I'd passed away and gone to"He...' during the disco period He was a great dancer and therefore a good athlete but his music did nothing for me-- he's music was just an extension of 'soulless disco'
No really how do u feel about disco ">&^%*(^$$^^&(&*^$@"
I was born and raised in the Bronx N.Y. and can't even begin to count how much time I spent on the subway. I roamed the streets of Manhattan, Harlem, the South Bronx and witnessed many odd things over those years. But the Subway, as depicted in this video was always an adventure. Characters such as this guy wandered on often and no one payed attention anymore it was so commonplace. They each had their own story. I remember being woken one morning on my way to work, by a guy waving a lightbulb in my face saying "seventy Five cents!...Seventy Five Cents!" After telling him to move on he went to the next passenger..."75 cents!" Then the next. Yea...that's right, a lightbulb! lol. At 125th street I saw him getting arrested. Yea, the good old days! Nothing like N.Y. ---------- Tommy
