Hi guys. It's been brought to my attention that our sign in does not use the nice secure https sign-in that is quickly becoming the industry standard.
What does this mean? Well, it means the passwords you type here aren't as secure as they could be. If you get a virus on your computer or a virus hits the site, the virus could pick off your password.
For most of us, well, that just means the hassle of trying to get things straightened out, but two specific groups may have a little more to worry about. Group one- if you use this password anywhere else- stop doing that! We don't want our low security compromising a more important password for you. The second group- the people who make money here. If your name is your reputation and your reputation means money, having someone get access to your account makes you more vulnerable than someone who is just using it to chat. Ideally, this will get fixed. In the meantime, take a couple extra precautions. If you are buying from someone on the forum double check with them off forum to make sure you have everything squared away.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Nate

Do you need help implementing a security certificate? I'm a harp playing web designer and could have my developer help out if needed.
