I've had a Session Steel Turboslide tuned to C powerbender for a couple years, but couldn't get myself to really sit down and learn the tuning. Well snow day, so I finally did.
I'm so glad I did. The middle octave (which is what originally turned me off) took a little while to get used to but now I am. For certain melodic uses, it's so great with the many draw notes and all those bends. Also loving having the missing F.
I'm finding that it's really a gem in 3rd position minor. Wow! It's changed my playing on those songs so much. If you have one and haven't played it much, I can't recommend more taking some time to get used to its third positon options. The note layout and chords available can work so well.
I just wish I had spare money right now to get all keys in powerbender.

I don't have a video right now of me but I'll try to make one once I have time. The TurboSlide is cool, and is extra useful with Powerbender to get all the notes. The sound of the slide bends are different and I've only found a few times I really found they fit so far. Honestly I generally play it like a normal powerbender harp. Using them as slide ornaments can be nice, but don't fit all styles.
Here is a video of Brendan Power playing a TurboSlide in powerbender, but I don't remember if he plays any third position.
