Here's an interesting harp amp challenge. I've got a 1956 Stromberg Carlson mono record player/cabinet in my living room. I'd like to set it up as a speaker cabinet I can use for harp. The enclosed amplifier needs significant work, so I plan to use my Masco MA-17 to drive the speakers.

The cabinet has both a 12" and an 8" speaker factory installed, which are both blown. I have a 12" mid 60's Jensen C12N-C7561 I was thinking of installing, and wonder what 8" speaker I could pair it with, keeping harp use in mind. It could be that the Jensen is a poor choice, so I wonder about that as well.

So, what 8" speaker would be a good companion for the Jensen, being pushed by the Masco?
