A relatively recent demo vid, should any members be considering similar amp/mic options. I'm playing The Heumann Element fitted into a JT-30, through a Vintage 47 amp. Greg's excellent work is well known around here of course, but these amps deserve more attention than they get.VIDEO

1847 - you should try and catch him when open. I've tried a few of his amps, as a friend has several of them. All sound great, but the smaller ones especially are some of the best I've played through.

Nice video. Vintage 47 makes the nicest small harp amp on the market, in a variety of very cool design, shapes and sizes. If you are looking for a National or Valco type amp and want reliablility, they are the way to go. I still regret letting my Comet go. Sure, they are more coin then the 5 Watters out there, but I think they are worth it.

6SN7 - I agree. Some builders shout much louder about their small amps (mentioning no names, of course), but the V47s are superior to most I've tried.
