Been playing here for 6 years. The city is redeveloping the area to build more faceless condos for snowbirds. This spot was ideal because it had electricity Oh well- there will be another
I never woulda picked up harp if it wasnt for this spot. See passing musicians would often ask to sit in on drums or guitar so I started messing with harp so they coud join in. In his video the drummer and mando player are sit ins
The sad part is it was a great corner to meet all kinds of musicians passing thru town as it was in a town square but just 1/2 mile from the beach
We got gigs, tv xtra spots and a bit in a commercial just from the great location. It was really a fun place to play

Yep. I would put brushes out because it would discourage folks who felt they had to band loudly on a public street corner. A sure way to get chased from the corner
Makes sense, always gonna get the Tommy Lee wannabes. And you can always tell the non-brush players when they are forced to play with brushes of some sort - they play exactly as if they were using sticks, sigh..... Some actual brushwork would have fit great with that song.
