Hi All,it was brought to the attention yesterday by an employee on one of my jobs that Ozzie and his son stopped at a shop in Clarksdale and the owner of the shop was tuning harps and such, to Ozzies amazement. He also said that the guy was playing a homemade cigar box guitar and blowing harp.I told my guy that it was probrably a guy named Deak Harp.lo and behold I googled it this morning and there it was.The funny thing about it is that Deak and my employee went to the same high school in N.J..Pretty cool for Deak being on a nationaly televised TV show eh ?

I was never into Ozzie - don't know much about him. Blame it on my protected my childhood. So this is an innocent question - was he always like this or did he have a stroke or something? Or did he just fry his brain with too many drugs? What is the deal?

Reportedly, he´s also subjected to some form of Parkinson´s diseases, accentuating his general incoherent demeanour.

That said, Deak Harp has got a surprisingly great rack harp sound. Any info on what he uses? ("Good tone ..." yeah yeah, I know, but apart from that.)

Ozzy pissed on the Alamo and bit the head off a bat and not a very interesting singer

Never understood his appeal
