Came across this on YouTube. December, 2014, Michelle (a singer I do occasional sideman gigs with) stopped in to sing at the Sunday jam when I was playing with the house band. Always enjoyable to back up Michelle. The guy on bass is actually a very accomplished drummer who would sit in at the jam trying to learn to play bass.

Can anyone tell me how to post a vid from Facebook?

Yeah. I'm the only harmonica player on this tune. The guy sitting in on organ is currently in my primary band ( since January of this year).

I always appreciate your posts on position playing and theory. Thanks for posting your performance.

Thanks, Doug. I don't consider myself to be a terrific player or anything like that, and I never make the effort to record myself. Maybe if I did, it would help me improve. I like to think that I know what I am doing (or at least what I am supposed to be doing), but my execution often isn't what it ought to be, so I don't pretend to be a great example of anything.

But, I do get a lot of opportunities to play, and FWIW, I think this vid does illustrate one way of approaching the high end in second position. I also think I did a pretty good job of staying out of everyone else's way and letting the music happen. I got the idea to play what I played based off what the organ had been playing right before my solo started. BTW, I also enjoy Michelle's delivery and energy level. She was the one who posted the vid on YT.

If anyone can tell me how to post a vid from Face Book, thre's a couple of vids on there I'd like to post here.
