Any experiences of the above?
I tried one out in a music store the other day, but only on my Roland Mobile -- and I find those kind of situations extremely tiring.
However, what I did find out was that it had at least two settings with fabulously great reverbs: "church" and "hall".

It created a serious "must have" need in me, and it´s not cheap -- but in comparison with som other pedal it was way beyond them. Way. So sounded like value for money.

It would be interesting to hear from someone with a more extended experience of this gadget. Maybe it´s not "blues" that primarily comes to mind when you talk big reverb, but it´s a luscious effect in any genre when used wisely.

I would not hesitate to buy it. Since my amps have reverb, I haven't tried TC E's reverb pedal, but I have their Flashback Delay and Vortez Flanger and both are fantastic, high quality, reliable and mucho harmonica friendly. I also tried their Corona Chorus pedal which is NOT harmonica friendly. But if I needed a reverb pedal I'd probably buy their HoF Reverb off the web without even trying it first. TC makes really nice pedals. A sax player I know who uses a pedal board has a HoF reverb pedal on his board and it sounds fine. FWIW

Oh, I forgot to mention that the TC E pedals are truly true bypass. When they are not engaged it's like they are not there. So they don't mess with your tone or volume when they are off.

I've got a TC HOF reverb. A friend borrowed/gave me one a couple of months ago. I really like it, it's got lots of different preset sounds and they all sound pretty good. I think I like the spring and hall the most of the presets, but my favourite one is my own customized reverb setting. The thing I like the most about the TC is that you can download a program for free from TC webpage which lets you connect the pedal to a computer while the pedal is hooked up to you amp and mic, and then you can create your own reverb sound by adjusting a lot of different parameters. You have the option to mute the original signal sound so you only hear the reverb effect when customizing, and that helps to clearly hear the effect, then I just play around with a parameter setting back and forth and turn on/off original signal until I find a sweetspot. My aim was to get a clear sound with a little bottom boost and I'm really happy with the sound, it's based on spring reverb and also got a little slapback delay thing going and still sounds really natural. Still I'm sure I can improve it even more if I get around to it. It was a little overwhelming at first but really fun once I got it going. I could take a screenshot of my settings and post here if you or anyone else would like to try it or tweak it up. If you get the pedal and create your own custom setting it would also be great if you posted it i would love to try it out!

Also, like hvyj said, you don't get any tone loss in bypass, I tested it back and forth a lot with both cm's and different crystals. And generally no extra feedback problems.

Gee boys, you do nasty things to my Gear Aquisition Syndrome (normally a very tempered thing in my psychological makeup) and I believe I´ll now have to run out and loan me a few hundred bucks and get one of them pedals. (Maybe they accept installments ...)
Shit!

But many thanks for the info, and please Dragonbreath I´d be most interested in the opportunity to download a picture of your settings. I find such things really hard to handle and would be most appreciative for any help.

I use this pedal regularly as my only effect and really like it. I use the plate reverb setting. Have not customized etc.

Okay here is a screenshot of my custom setting. I thought it was based on spring reverb but I think I went with "ambience1" instead as it sounded clearer. I just compared my setting with the other ones, and I still really like it, it just sounds natural, clean and open.

The way to go about is to download toneprint program from tc electronics site and I guess install it and open it, then connect the pedal to PC with the usb cable. Click on editor on top of the toneprint window. I have "decay" and "tone" knobs set to 12 o'clock, and the reverb setting knob must be turned to "tone print". The "fx level" knob doesn't matter, it won't change anything, but when I use the pedal I have it at about 9 o'clock.
Then just set the settings in the program like they are in the screenshot. But you don't have to change anything that's under "modulation" part of the editor, exept make sure "modulation active" is set to off.
Don't forget to click "store to pedal" when you finish.

Hope you like it, if anyone has any questions or feedback or any improvements or other settings please share :)
