I will be in Albany for work over the next couple of days. For the Albany-based members (Nate, others?), are there any cool music happenings scheduled for Monday night, or are there any good music stores I need to check out while in town?

There is a blues jam at Pauly's Hotel on Mondays. I actually haven't been to it. I used to go to their Wednesday open mics and some of the same guys played there. There used to be a really good open mic on Mondays downtown too, but they had a change in management and it's not even a shadow of what it used to be. I'll check real quick and see if any particular shows are going. We've got some great local acts (Sean Rowe, Olivia Quillio, Brian LaPointe and the Joints, Lucky Jukebox Brigade) but I don't know off the top of my head if any of them have shows.

I'm not familiar with the acts, but there is a show in Dana Park too. They usually have pretty good shows.
