I don't associate Sugar Blue with oveblow technique, but at the 3:15 point in this video of the PARIS SESSIONS, an album that was, I believe, recorded in 1979 or 1980, he hits a 6 ob. No big deal, but then again: that's pretty early, and if anybody is writing, or plans to write, a history of the introduction of overblowing into the blues harmonica universe, this is a moment that deserves noting:
