IMHO.... Jason came with it! Very cool playing. Great song. Well done by all.....I thought the Butterfield Blues Band induction was good too. Elvin Bishop is a hoot!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! HBO Canada did not carry this. It was on a Fox channel, later, that nobody gets. Much better sound than the utube i-phone uploads.
I love Jason's body posture when he plays. Always at some point he pops up erect and in your face saying, "there ...what do you think of that!". Totally works for me and something I try to emulate and keep in mind when I play.
Agreed. When time to play Jason steps up, stands tall, and plays his butt off. He looked very confident and comfortable. ---------- www.facebook.com/catfishfryeband
I could have done without the mediocre guitar "duel." Don't see how that was a tribute to Paul Butterfield. I would've enjoyed more of Jason who did a great job of capturing Butterfield's style while incorporating some of his own. His part of the piece was the only thing that stood out. He left me wanting more, and he showed great restraint and professionalism by not trying to jump in with the guitarists whom he would have blown away if they'd tried to duel with him. Bravo, Jason!
