Thank you so much everyone for your attention and kind words! It's really means a lot for me! Really. As for gear: I used lone wolf harp break (I use it before octave. The main reason is I like how it sounds in that way) then EHX pitch fork (for that money this is the best octave pedal in the market) then t-rex reptile delay and lone wolf harp reverb. As for leslie effect I've used VST leslie plugin but I collect money for Lex Strymon. :) ---------- Konstantin Kolesnichenko(Ukraine) my music
I use a Strymon Lex and love it. I tend to stick to playing octaves on the harp. I typically haven't used pitch effects with it. You nailed it here, though! I basically just go for John Popper rotary tones for rhythm playing. ---------- Mike My Website My Harmonica Effects Blog
The Iceman, it's an old soviet Puss in Boots cartoon :) Nathan, thank you so much! :) HarpNinjs, thank you! Have you ever used other leslie pedals? I've read and watched on youtube that Lex Strymon is the best. But may be there's something cheaper? ---------- Konstantin Kolesnichenko(Ukraine) my music
That's great, quirky and a bit trippy. Reminds me of lot's of thing's, The Munsters (for some reason), Tom Waits and a creepy animation called Salad Fingers!!! ----------
"those British boys want to play the blues real bad, and they do
I continue to experiment to get that hammond sound with harmonica. That's not only gear question but it also depends on phrasing. I've tried to think in terms of hammond sound. So here is result. Classic jazz ballad.
timeistight, BronzeWailer , thank you so much! I'm glad that you like it :) BronzeWailer, "I don't think you post too much playing at all." then hold on!! :)) ---------- Konstantin Kolesnichenko(Ukraine) my new studio album on CDBaby my music on youtube
Interesting. To my ears this second installment comes much closer to an authentic organ sound. Have you changed something here in the settings or the gear, or is it just the differing "musicality"?
Diggsblues, thank you so much, I'm glad that you like it! It was my usual gear and some tweaking with plugins in reaper. My opt5 vibratone simulator pedal is very good in terms of sound, it gives me nice analog sound but it too slow for hammond emulation IMO. I still want a Lex Strymon :)
Martin, thank you. It's all the same. I think it's because of higher harmonica and some changes in my playing :) ---------- Konstantin Kolesnichenko(Ukraine) my new studio album on CDBaby my music on youtube
