Seydel's Harp of the Month for June is a "four times Richter" 12-hole in Low C, stainless steel reeds 1-9, brass 10-12. Four times Richter tuning is

Blow: CEGCEGCEGCEG

Draw: DGBDGBDGBDGB

Looks interesting.

This looks like a 12 hole version of the 'Richter Extended' tuning, supposedly invented by Richard Sleigh (according to Brendan Power's site: http://www.brendan-power.com/harpgeeks.php). I use a variation of this tuning, but as Paddy Richter extended up the whole harp. Extending the bottom hole pattern up the whole harp makes it really easy to riff from top to bottom. Lots of octave possibilities too. IMO, it really should be more popular than it is. Much more 'beginner friendly' than standard Richter, with all it's breath pattern switching.
