I had a chance to hang out with Bob Corritore down at Hopson's a week ago and got some nice footage, which I'll be uploading over the next little while.

There's a lesson for harp players in the way he handles his first three or four choruses here. He leaves exactly the right amount of space between phrases; he lets the music breathe. He's listening to what's going on around him and using his harp in a way that brings the whole ensemble along with him. There's nothing flashy about his playing, but that's precisely my point: he's making the song work for him. He knows just what to do to keep raising the energy level.

Yeah, Bob Corritore is very good his last CD Taboo is great just instrumental, classy stuff. And Billy Flynn is a great guitarist I think and Classic Jimmy Smith number. Good post.
