Just a little O.T. plug from a local Hawaii bluesman. We do have the blues way out hea in the boondocks! And the only reason there is no harp on this song, is nobody else had a camera, but me. These spontaneous sit ins, really make it worth a sit out. I believe there is a too-much-harp threshold...and one must be careful not to saturate the night with too much harp. No matter how good you may be. And showcase the band. This was Rea Fox, and Chuck de Francis, sittin in with us on a few..nice!
Or this blues band, called Geary Haynes' Bluez Tribe. Geary was in my band. He can play! Just too busy to commit to a weekly gig, for (next to) nothing pay...I sit in when he plays at OnStage. Alot of fun. Damn! ..the drummer is a hired gun...solid. Plays in my band when I need a fill in. James Ganeko. Da best! The singer and bassist are solid, too. Don't really know them. They're from the North Shore. Pretty simple stuff...alot of heart.
